The Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria is one of the top destinations for summer holidays, not only for Italians but also for many foreigners. Our school is located in a panoramic position in Calabria, in Santa Domenica, by the sea and near the famous Tropea. Organizing your trip will be easy: the International Airport of Lamezia Terme is well connected with flights around the world.

Tropea

Tropea is loved by visitors for its fascinating narrow alleys and its breathtaking views over the sea. The church Santa Maria dell’Isola, located on a rock in front of the city, has become the landmark for the whole tyrrhenian coast which is called also “Costa degli Dei” (“Coast of Gods”) due to its breathtaking landscapes and the fact that Homer’s Odyssey is set right on the Tyrrennic coast.

During the summer there are several cultural activities in Tropea, there are concerts, open-air cinema, the Tropea Blues Festival, street-artists and much more. You can reach Tropea easily in only 4 minutes by train or bus. You can even take a little walk of about 30 minutes.

Santa Domenica of Ricadi

Our school is located in the little village of Santa Domenica, only a hop from the famous medieval town of Tropea.

Santa Domenica is a nice inviting village with a little centre which offers all for your daily needs. It is not yet overcrowded by tourists, besides the very peak season of August, and is a very comfortable place o stay.

There are several beaches you can reach in about 15 minutes on foot. Our students love especially the beach of “Formicoli” and the beach “Scalea” which is reachable through a stair from the main piazza of Santa Domenica.
