The following general terms and conditions apply booking your Italian course with Conte Ruggiero School:
Italian language courses
The Italian language courses are held from Monday to Friday. Every lesson is 45 minutes long. On the first day students will do a placement test to determine their starting language level. The entry test, any other possible test done during the course or at the end of it, is considered part of the lesson. The maximum number of participants in a course is 10. In the unlikely event there are less than three students of the same linguistic level, their course will be guaranteed but it will be considered as a semi-individual or individual and the length of the lessons will be reduced of 60%. This has to be seen as an upgrade if compared to the booked course.
Lessons are not held on the following public holidays: 01-01; 06-01; “Pasquetta” (Easter Monday); 25-04; 01-05; 02-06; 15-08; 01-11; 08-12; 25-12; 26-12. Please note that lessons lost on public holidays will not be refunded.
Certificate of attendance
At the end of the course, every participant will receive a certificate of attendance where the number of the lessons attended, his/her linguistic level and the general content of the lessons will be certified. If you need an intermediate and/or final assessment in order to get credits for a university having an agreement with our school, please talk to the Director of Studies on your first course day.
Special language programs
For all special language programs “full-immersion” / “vivere la lingua” there are required minimum 3 participants. In case of less participants only a part of the activities will be realized or, alternatively, school proceeds with full refund of the program.
Visa
In order to issue a student visa, you have to apply to the nearest Italian embassy/consulate providing the school letter of acceptance.
